Just a few minutes from our dock magnificent reefs team with life. Millions of fish schools
around the famous sites like Kinks, Moray Alley and Hawksbill Reef. These reefs along Bimini's
protected shoreline range in depth from 35 feet to 95 feet with beautiful white sand bottoms,
healthy corals and abundant fish populations. Specialty wreck dives like famous Bimini Barge and the shot-up concrete hull of the Sapona are all part of our everyday itinerary. Covered in corals and sponges you can explore these great dives surrounded by millions of fish. Intrepid divers can even search the Sapona for 50 caliber encrusted ammunition leftover from WWII target practice.
Off the north end of Bimini lies the road to Atlantis, made famous by numerous Discover Channel specials, it makes a great snorkel and picnic lunch. While to the south off Cat Cay, dives like Victory Reef, Tuna Alley and The Wall rank amongst the best dives in the Bahamas and Caribbean. Forming walls in 35 feet and plunging down through crevices, caves and swim-through's that exit up to a 130 feet down the wall.
Divers are whisked safely over to Bimini in just 25 minutes with various air charters. Flying in reliable twin engine aircraft, you can spot eagle rays and lemon sharks in the shallows around the island when flying in and out.
Bimini offers some of the finest fishing to go along with your dive vacation and we can book you on a half day or day of flats or deep sea fishing that will make your total stay with us a memorable one. Kayak and bicycle rentals are available on site to tour the island and get some healthy exercise at the same time.
Scuba Bimini uses modern state-of-the-art boats to make short work of travel time to and from dive sites. Small groups can be accommodated in our smaller boats; all are fully equipped for safety and diving convenience.
The South Bimini Yacht Club and Marina, located on quiet, laid back South Bimini, is our home base of operations. We offer newly remodeled, waterfront rooms with two or three queen-sized beds, private bath and air conditioning. Our dive operation includes scuba, snorkeling and a fully stocked dive shop on the premises. At our dock is a full service water taxi to North Bimini for your shopping pleasures. We have a wonderful island atmosphere lounge and to tempt your taste buds, come to our restaurant for some fine Bahamian cuisine, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
